Right To Play Thailand will conclude its programs in Thailand, effective December 31st, 2023.
Since 2002, Right To Play Thailand has been dedicated to protecting, educating, and empowering children to rise above adversity through the power of play. Over the past 20 years, we have worked with thousands of children in urban Bangkok and more remote communities, providing safe and accessible areas for young people to play and learn, and equipping children who face hardship and adversity with crucial life skills such as leadership, self-confidence, communication, and resilience.
We take immense pride in our accomplishments in Thailand, through the 12 projects we have implemented: ACBB, ASEAN, FAST, Side By Side, UP, Sport works Program, Southern Thailand Initiative, Play to Learn, Life Skills Development Program, Life Skills Education, Teacher Project and ACT.
We are deeply grateful for the support of our partners since 2002: DKSH, Liverpool Football Club (LFC) Foundation, Lacoste Foundation, CHEEWID, and DJOP Thailand, among many others. Their collaboration and shared vision have made these achievements possible. We are also grateful for the partnership of the local NGOs and international organizations that have played pivotal roles in shaping a better future for the children of Thailand.
We would also like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated members of the Thailand board of directors and the tireless Thailand staff, coaches, and teachers. Additionally, we extend our appreciation to our esteemed partner organizations, the children who have touched our lives, and the inspiring youth who have played a pivotal role in shaping our journey in Thailand. Your unwavering support, passion, and commitment have been invaluable to us, and we are truly honored to have shared this remarkable journey with each and every one of you.
